Peter Quansah Jr., LLB

Tactician. Strategist. Thinker. Daddy.

Peter was born in Montreal, Quebec and moved to Toronto, Ontario where he completed his undergraduate and law school degrees.  After articling at a boutique personal injury firm, he spent a couple of years working as an insurance defence lawyer, before moving to Alberta in 2013.

Peter’s practice focuses on personal injury, employment, and general litigation.  He routinely handles motor vehicle accidents, complex insurance claims, slip and fall injuries, catastrophic injuries, including spinal-cord injuries, as well as litigating life insurance, long-term disability claims and critical illness claims. He also represents both management and employees in employment law matters.

Peter’s client-focused approach generates successful results and has earned him the reputation as a resolute and tenacious representative of his client’s interests in negotiations and mediation.

He has appeared on behalf of clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, and the Alberta Court of Justice.

Peter is active in his community and volunteers at the Institute for Stuttering Treatment and Research (ISTAR), and coached U5 children’s soccer in Beaumont. He has also volunteered at the Cross-Cancer Institute.

When he is not advocating on behalf of his clients, he enjoys boxing, golf, travelling, riding his motorcycle, backcountry camping and of course, hanging out with his children.
